Do you offer Wi-Fi? Is it free?
Yes, we offer free Wi-Fi at the resort. This is a standard connection perfect for checking emails or light surfing the web
Do you offer full hookups?
Each of our RV resort spaces features water, sewer, and 30/50 amp electric.
Do you allow pets? Are there any restrictions?
Dockside RV Resort is pet-friendly. We encourage and expect you to bring pet waste bags to pick up after your pets. Our RV park has a pea gravel road and grass lots that are nice walking areas for your pet. We do limit each site to two pets and do not allow any aggressive breeds. For specific restrictions, contact us for more information.
Can I have a camp fire?
Unfortunately, not at your campsite, but we do have fire pits along the waterfront where you can enjoy the comfort of a fire and the beautiful scenery of Mobile Bay. However, barbecues are welcome.
Do you have a laundry facility?
Sorry, but not at this time.

Do you have pull-through spaces? Can you accommodate a 45 foot RV?
No and yes. Dockside RV Resort only has back in or drive into sites. No pull-through spaces are available. Yes, we can accommodate a large RV.
Do you have a pool and is it heated?
We sure do, our resort offers a solar seasonal heated pool (heated pool meaning it is only heated by the rays of the sun-it can get hot here in lower Alabama).
Do you have restrictions on RV types?
Tent camping is prohibited at Dockside RV Resort.
How long can I stay?
We offer daily, weekly, and extended stay rates. Please inquire online for special requests.
Do you offer RV storage on site?
Yes we have a secure area for RV storage, boat trailer storage and overflow parking. Ask at the office for pricing for long-term storage.
Is there an RV repair nearby?
Yes. We offer an “On-Call” technician that is available on an “As-Needed basis.
When is check-in time? Check-out time?
Check-in time is 1 p.m. Check-out is 12 noon. Early arrivals and late departures (if available) may be subject to a nominal fee.
Do you offer discounts?
Contact our office directly to learn about any discounts or current promotions we offer.
Are you close to shopping and dining?
There are a few local restaurants within a few minutes of the resort. The hometown of Bubba Gump, Bayou le Batre is next door where you can enjoy plenty of fresh seafood and fish. Grocery stores and major retailers, like Walmart, are about 10-20 miles away. If you are looking for more shopping options visit our front office for more detailed information.
Do you sell propane?
No.
Can I reserve a specific site?
Yes, that option is available by booking online. You must pay in advance online and select the option to hold a specific space. We can not guarantee availability without reserving online.
Do you offer RV rentals?
Unfortunately, no.
Do you have any golf courses nearby?
Yes, there are many attractions and activities near our RV Resort.
