Guest Guidelines

Welcome to Dockside RV Resort, your peaceful waterfront retreat on the Gulf of America.
These guidelines help us maintain a clean, safe, luxury coastal experience for every guest.

General Information


  • Check-In: 1:30 PM | Check-Out: 11:30 AM

  • Early check-in or late check-out must be pre-approved by management.

  • No smoking in resort buildings or in the pool area.

  • No littering — cigarette butts and bottle caps are litter and must be disposed of properly.

  • Campfires allowed only in the designated community fire pit.

  • Excessive noise, profanity, disruptive behavior, fireworks, or illegal activity are not permitted.

  • Guests must take all household trash to the designated dumpsters.

  • Dockside is growing fast. Please use caution around construction equipment and crews working in the area.

RV Sites & Vehicles


  • Each reserved site includes one RV + one vehicle.

  • Additional vehicles, trailers, or boats must be stored in designated areas (fee applies).

  • Parking on grass, landscaping, or non-designated areas is not allowed.

  • Speed limit is 5 MPH — strictly enforced.

  • No RV? No problem, we rent units out to guests!

Utilities & Hookups


  • All RVs must be RVIA certified.

  • RVs must be 10 years old or newer unless approved with submitted photos.

  • RVs must arrive clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition.

  • A secure, sealed sewer connection is required.

  • Dumping grey or black water on the ground is strictly prohibited.

  • EV charging allowed only in designated areas (if available).

Pet Policy


  • Pets are welcome and must be registered at check-in.

  • Pets must remain on a 6-ft leash outside.

  • No unattended pets outdoors.

  • Owners must clean up immediately — pet waste stations are throughout the resort.

  • Pets are not allowed in the pool area.

  • Aggressive or excessively noisy pets may be restricted.

Pool Area


  • Hours: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM (when open)

  • No lifeguard on duty — swim at your own risk.

  • No running, diving, glass containers, or smoking in the pool area.

  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Quiet Hours


  • 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM

  • No loud music or disruptive gatherings during quiet hours.

  • Non-compliance may result in removal without refund.

Occupany & Visitors


  • Standard rates include 2 adults + 2 children (under 18).

  • Additional guests: $5 per person/day.

  • Maximum 6 guests per site unless approved.

  • All visitors must register at the office. Visitor fee: $5 per person/day.

  • Guests are responsible for visitor behavior.

Security & Conduct


  • Dockside RV Resort is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

  • Secure valuables at all times.

  • Report concerns to management immediately.

  • Violence, threats, harassment, or illegal activity will result in removal without refund.

  • In accordance with Alabama law, lawful concealed carry is permitted.

  • Guests are expected to follow all state firearm regulations and safety practices.

Cancellation & Refunds


  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing 7+ days before arrival.

  • $25 cancellation fee applies.

  • Cancellations within 7 days forfeit the deposit.

  • Early departures are not refundable.

  • Monthly reservation deposits are non-refundable.

  • Dockside RV Resort may ask any guest to leave at any time for unsafe conduct, rule violations, or disruptive behavior. This is a short-stay lodging facility, not a rental agreement.
